Log 4: A New Log (Launch date)
Umbra: Journey Home » Devlog
Umbra is coming out 18th February!
That's not long. Almost 2 weeks away!
Sound the alarms (and the anxious bells)!!!
In getting ready for the full version I updated the demo. I will probably not update the demo going forward so that I can focus entirely on supporting the full game. The demo should be considered complete.
Onto the updates!
Most of the work these past few months have been just completing and finalising the full game but there are a few little bits here and there.
Main Features:
- Added controller support for xbox controllers (does not work in menu, sorry)
Minor Features:
- Altered narration. Reduced number of thoughts and the amount of wording. Should help with clarity.
- Added a little effect when taking an object into a static zone. Rather then the object just instantly teleporting.
- Fixed turning objects seed and moving way too fast in the light.
- Reopened the Bonus Puzzle back to it’s spicy levels. Now everyone can suffer under the weight of ‘Spin to Win’.
Backend stuff
- Increased performance in the Mountain. So much smoother.
- Fixed an onslaught of bugs. Too many bugs.
